This month marks a major announcement made by “Research in motion”, Blackberries software developer. They have announced that the popular application Blackberry Messenger will be available across all platforms which will include Apple and Android. The download will be available for free in a move to “bring the application to a greater audience” says Thorsten Heins, CEO.
The new aim for Blackberry is to spread their wings and bring their service to emerging markets. They will also be bringing us a new handset called the Q10, a phone that will be more affordable and smart enough to run their latest operating system Blackberry 10.
Exciting times ahead!
