We never really took these guys seriously at first to be honest. They designed entry level smart phones that were modestly priced but never offered as much as their competitors. However, to our surprise we found out that Huawei and Microsoft have been working together for quite some time now. Off course by now everyone has heard of Windows 8 and how Microsoft plan to roll out the operating system on tablets and smart devices. Well, they have teamed up with Huawei to create a new windows phone that is specially designed for Africa, which they have identified as one of the most rapidly growing technology markets in the world. The smart phone will be released in South Africa during February, Huawei have announced.
Features of this device include a snappy dual core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon processor, 4 inch display and 420 hours of standby time and off course the Windows 8 operating system.
